One of the beauties of graphic design is that sometimes, the most successful creations are unnoticed. They are curated to fit so perfectly in our lives that we don’t realize how well they work, only if they didn’t. Design for film is no different in that its purpose is to immerse you in a story and coax you into believing an elaborate unfolding of events is truthful. From matching time period store fronts to quirky bumper stickers alluding to the characters demise, graphic design can easily pass you by but it ultimately pulls you further into the plot than you ever realized.
